I am what I think. Beginning point of the appropriate thinking of a Christian.

  1. Remember who owns you. God owns us because he purchased us. We are a chosen race. A people chosen for Christ
  2. Renew your oath of obedience. Obedience produces blessing and eternal reward. He is my Lord, I am his slave. When Christ blesses us he is making his heart of the promise just as yours is to obey. Salvation is a covenant of obedience.
  3. Remain faithful to biblical convictions. Tie up all the loose ends in your mind. Make sure your doctrines are strong. Make desiring the word the most important desire. Don’t be hypercritical. Be on the alert, unwavering in the faith. Be strong and courageous.
  4. Recognize all sin as a violation of a relationship. Sin is not just violating a law. It is breaching a relationship. We should be Holy the way Christ is Holy. Don’t act like we did before we were saved. View every sin as a violation of God
  5. Render love always toward others. Love to the maximum capacity to stretch. We have the willingness of sacrificial love towards others.
  6. Regard highly the effects of adversity. We want trials. Because that is the truth of your faith. The trial maybe difficult but you still trust him. It is a tremendous blessing since you got through the trial that tests.
  7. Retain the full function of your conscience. When you do right you get confirmation from the Holy Spirit. Conscience is gods way of letting you know you are in the wrong. We want a clear conscience. When we have a clear conscience we are happy.
  8. Recognize the supreme purpose of your life. To offer acceptable sacrifice to God through worship. Worship in thought and words. In spirit and truth. Life goes upward and worship goes outward. Make my life a constant act of worship and proclamation for Christ.
